The extended day program at Nativity Early Learning Center is designed to accommodate the needs of families by providing care before and after school hours. The program operates from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which children can have breakfast and interact with peers and teachers.
The after-school program includes classroom activities, guided crafts, enrichment activities, homework time if necessary, an afternoon snack, free choice time in the classroom, daily outdoor activities, and access to a large motor room and auditorium at Nativity School.
When Nativity School is closed, the extended day program at NELC offers additional care, requiring advance registration one week prior to school release days. There is an additional fee for these extra care days.
Nativity School also provides various extracurricular activities for its students immediately after classes. Because of the proximity and connection between the school and the Early Learning Center, children can participate in activities such as intramural sports, music lessons, and scouting programs. A detailed list of available after-school programs can be found on the school's website under extracurricular activities.
