Language and Literacy Development: Emphasizes listening, speaking, emergent reading, and writing. 3. Cognitive Development: Covers mathematical and logical thinking, scientific problem solving, and social systems understanding. 4. Physical and Motor Development: Includes gross and fine motor development and physical health. 5. Approaches to Learning: Encourages curiosity, risk-taking, imagination, persistence, and reflection. 6.
