Welcome to Nativity of Our Lord Early Learning Center Where Christ is Born and Grows
The early years of a child's life are important developmental stages. At the Nativity Early Learning Center (NELC), the primary responsibility is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive environment for each child. The center is dedicated to supporting the development of each child by acknowledging individual differences and potential. Operating for over 33 years, NELC offers a full-day preschool and an afterschool program for Nativity school students in grades K through 5.
NELC is located within the Nativity parish and school, occupying the lower levels of the Lannan Center at 1900 Wellesley Avenue, across from Nativity School. This location is convenient for families with both school-age and preschool children. NELC aims to provide quality education and care for children of stay-at-home and working parents.
From the Director:
To Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for selecting the Nativity Early Learning Center (NELC) for your child. Early childhood education is a valuable program for your child's development. Our teachers assist in guiding children toward future success. NELC programs help children develop relationships, self-confidence, respect for others, and accountability for their actions in a safe and nurturing environment. Recognizing the importance of a Catholic education, I am proud of the community at a Catholic school. We look forward to collaborating with you and your child.
